Kylie Minogue may replace Jessie J

Aussie pop singer Kylie Minogue is being lined up to replace Jessie J as a mentor in the popular reality television show The Voice. It is believed that the top BBC officials have offered the Australian singer £ 500000 to be a part of the 3rd series in the year 2014.

Forty five year old Kylie Minogue is said to have rejected a £ 1 million contract to be a part of the television show when it was launched previous year. An insider told that Kylie Minogue ticks the right boxes; therefore, they were pulling out all the stops. Very soon she will put her sign on the dotted line.

Alan Yentob, the creative director of BBC, had insisted that Tom loved working on the show and all the reports of Tom had quit were premature. It is expected that BBC bosses will talk to him once they find out that Will.I.Am and Kylie are on board.

There are reports that the officials would turn to a younger act to end their line up. There might be former Spice Girl Mel C or JLS star Marvin Humes. In spite of ratings and mixed reactions, the show is coming back to BBC.

An insider told that they have got high hopes for the show with a mixture of the good bits from the 1st two series’ with some brand new tweaks that they expect could attract some new viewers. The Voice’s very first season was the highest rated new entertainment series on record for BBC One, with a amalgamated series of 9.2 million viewers on average.
